Spring into gear

The new tennis season will be here faster than you know it! So get some guaranteed playing time on court by attending the WPTC's March Indoor Social!

• Members have priority for this event.
  
• Non-Member registration will open 10 days before the event, if space is available.

What You Can Expect

• Check-in starts at 5:30 pm, play starts at 6pm. We'll have more than 60 people trying to check in, so please arrive early.
  
• When you check in...
• • we'll let you know if you're in the 1st or 2nd round. 1st round play starts at 6 pm.
  • you'll get a ticket good for 1 complimentary alcoholic beverage (it's a cash bar after the first drink - see new policy below).
    
• If you're in the 2nd round, relax with some food & drink and socialize with new and old club friends!
• Court assignments will be posted.
• Balls are provided.
• Costumes are encouraged.
  

What You Should Bring

• It's a Potluck - so bring your favorite dish to share.
  
• Non-alcoholic beverages are provided.
• Alcoholic beverages - after the first complimentary beverage it's a cash bar. So bring money if you plan on imbibing.
  

NEW POLICY for Alcoholic Beverages

Due to liquor license regulations, WPTC is no longer allowed to provide alcoholic beverages at events held at CACM.  All alcohol must be purchased from CACM.

• Going forward, when you check in, we will give each participant a drink coupon for 1 alcoholic beverage. 
  
• Drink tickets are only good on the evening of the event.
  
• If you don't plan on using yours, you're welcome to give it to someone else to use during the event.

Near Miss Day commemorates March 23rd, 1989, when a large asteroid missed the Earth by a mere 500,000 miles – a very near miss indeed! If an asteroid was about to hit the Earth – how would you spend your last hours? Playing tennis we hope!
