Leagues

In Colorado, League play starts in March of each year and continues deep into September.

To get involved in league play, you can form your own team by becoming a team captain, or we can help you find a team to play on.

All WPTC League Team players must have current memberships with WPTC and USTA. Captains are responsible for ensuring everyone on their team has paid their WPTC dues for the current year.

If you've never played on a WPTC USTA League, here are a few things you might find helpful...

Being a Captain Has Benefits!

WPTC is always looking for folks to Captain or Co-Captain league teams!

As a team captain, not only do you get to plan your team's season schedule (who plays which matches and which lines) and assign home team hospitality responsibilities, additionally WPTC throws in a FREE MEMBERSHIP for captains*!

  • Starting in 2019, anyone who captains a WPTC League Team, will have their membership fee refunded to them at some point after their team starts playing.

* All captains will need to first pay their membership fee, then after they've fulfilled their responsibilities the membership fee will be refunded.

Are you a WPTC Captain looking for players?

Whether you don't have any players at all or you just need a few more to round out your roster, here are some ways to find players...

  • Sign into your WPTC Member Account and visit the Member Directory.  There you can do an Advanced Search and filter the members down by Gender, NTRP rating, League and even playing preference (Singles, Doubles, Mixed).

DID YOU KNOW? You can even email your fellow members directly from the WPTC site to see if they want a spot on your team!

  • Use the FIND PLAYERS form and the Leagues Director will help you out.  She has access to both members and non-members looking for a team.
