July Summer Social (July 11, 2026)

Come out for our July Summer Social! This event is open to all members. Thank you for being a member of the club!

Registration Info

Deadline: Registration closes at midnight on July 9 or when all available spots have been filled, whichever comes first.
If we fill up before the deadline, there will be a wait list.

What You Can Expect At This Event

All food & beverages are provided (no alcohol provided, sorry)
Play is outdoors at the Wash Park South Tennis Courts (map)
Check-in starts at 8:30 am.
When you check in, we'll let you know if you're in the 1st or 2nd round. 1st round play starts at promptly at 9:00 am.
If you're in the 2nd round, relax with some food & drink and socialize with new and old club friends!
Court assignments will be posted.
Balls are provided.

What You Should Bring

Your tennis gear!
You might want to bring a lawn chair.
Don't worry about food or beverages!
Your own reusable water bottle.

Questionable weather on the day of the event?

Just in case, here's how we'll manage the possibility of bad weather...

On the day of the event, if the weather is questionable, we will post an update on the website.
Unless a cancellation notice is posted on the site, you should assume the event is happening as scheduled.
If the event is cancelled due to inclement weather, then a credit will be applied to your WPTC account. You'll be able to use this credit to play a future social.

ITA Mixed Doubles League Team (July 12, 2026)

If you're planning on captaining an ITA Fall Mixed League team, then you'll need to pay the league team fee. Typically team captains will then divide the team fee among the players on the team.

League Team Reservations are only open to WPTC Members.

For this league, WPTC strongly suggests a minimum of 8 players on the team.
All players on the team must be WPTC Members.
If there is more demand for teams than available courts, then priority will be given to returning teams.

Minimum Roster Deadline: June 12, 2026 (6 player minimum)

Season Dates: July 12 - Aug 23, 2026

Format: 3 mixed doubles positions

Divisions Available:

5.5, 6.5, 7.5, 8.5 and 9.5 (combined ratings)

Day & Time Matches Played

Sundays at 12pm
6.5 and 8.5

Sundays at 3pm
5.5, 7.5 and 9.5

CTA Twilight League Team (July 20, 2026)

If you're planning on captaining a CTA Twilight League team, then you'll need to pay the league team fee. Typically team captains will then divide the team fee among the players on the team.

August Summer Social (August 01, 2026)

We're scheduling our last Summer Social of 2026! This event is open to all members first, then non-members.

Socials are a fun way to meet other club members. We'll play 40 minutes, break (eat, socialize), play another 40 minutes, repeat!
